Kakching, January 08 2020: A team of Kakching Commandoes seized 10,000 WY tablets from one Yunglama Shintlung Maring (37), s/o Y Mophun of Langol village, Machi Sub Division, Tengnoupal District yesterday at around 7 pm.

On questioning, it was learnt that the contraband items belonged to one Weko Mero (31), S/o Zakieli Mero of Pfutsero, Phek District, Nagaland, currently staying at Chandel Christian Hospital, Chandel.

The contraband item was to be delivered to Weko Mero at Pallel.

Accordingly, Weko Mero was arrested at around 8.30 pm from Chandel Lamkhai, Pallel.

A case has been registered at Kakching PS and the arrested persons and seized items have been handed over to Kakching PS .
