Imphal, August 06 2015: The Rongmei Naga Council Manipur (RNCM) has hailed the inking of a peace accord between the Government of India and NSCN-IM at New Delhi on August 3 based on the unique history of Nagas and bringing an end to the long drawn Naga struggle for over nine decades since the Naga Raj Movement of Haipou Jadonang (1920s) .

The RNCM further conveyed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his Council of Ministers, interlocutor RN Ravi, NSCN-IM chairman Isaac Swu and general secretary Thuingaleng Muivah for the historic peace accord.
