Imphal, November 05 2024: A hand grenade was found by locals on the roadside of NH 2 at Ngangkhalawai under Moirang police station while" conducting cleanliness drive on Tuesday.

According to police, locals of Ngangkhalawai conducted cleanliness drive around 8.40 am and discovered the hand grenade on the roadside.

After contact, a team of Moirang police station came and safely retrieved the hand grenade, which had no detonator, it added.
