Imphal, June 05 2022: Manipur Dramatic Union (MDU) and Sorokhaibam Lalit Memorial Trust jointly organised the 130th birth anniversary of theatre director cum artiste Sorokhaibam Lalit by offering floral tributes to the portrait of the late artiste at MDU hall, Yaiskul Police Lane, here on Sunday.

MAHUD minister Y Khemchand, MDU president Soraisam Keshoram and Hiyanglam MLA Dr Radheshyam Yumnam attended the event as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Manipur University guest faculty Dr Athokpam Kholchandra's new book 'Manipur Theatregee Lamyanba Ama - Sorokhaibam Lalit Singh' was also released on the occasion.
