Security forces provide emergency medical assistance

Imphal, December 04 2020: Medical officer of Territorial Army under the aegis of Headquarters 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) provided an emergency medical assistance to Sinthuilu (24) resident of Kaimai Naga, Primigranida who reported for delivery at PHC Oinamlong Manipur yesterday as per a statement by Assam Rifles.

Dr Gangmei at PHC Oinamlong sought the help from Army medical officer as the condition was critical and referral to a hospital would have been delayed by another 6-7 hours.

The RMO with the assistance of the PHC staff carried out a successful delivery of a male child and the mother and baby duo were later referred to district hospital for further treatment.
