Imphal, February 04 2020: BJP Khundrakpam Mandal has urged the Government to take up necessary actions against the erring engineers and contractor who allegedly undertook the construction of the Yumnam Patlou bridge, along Imphal-Saikul road, against the work schedule.

Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, BJP Khundrakpam Mandal president M Debaratan Meetei expressed disappointment at the attempt to perform new slab work instead of demolishing the old bridge and making it from the ground up.

Strongly opposing such lacklustre construction ethics, he further warned against misusing public funds.
