Imphal, December 03 2017: Film maker and writer OC Meira was today conferred Mombi Award by Manipuri Theatre Centre Assam in recognition of his services for the people through his influential artistic works .

The award presentation ceremony held at Gandhi Bhawan, Silchar was attended by Ngangom Joykumar, vice-president of Assam Manipuri Sahitya Parishad as chief guest and Dr Maimom Shantikumar, vice-president of Manipuri Theatre Centre Assam as president .

The award was donated by Shomor Luwang.
