Imphal, June 02 2011: Results of HSLC Exam 2011 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur would be declared within June 15 .

BSEM Controller K Birachandra said that results of the exam have been delayed for sometime due to engagement of teachers in census works.

Nevertheless, with the BSEM putting in maximum efforts, mark tabulation is now underway, he said.

Altogether 38,884 candidates appeared in HSLC Exam 2011 including 35,575 in new course, 2882 appearing in supplementary examination and 427 in old course.

Last year, 27,554 candidates appeared in the HSLC Exam out of which 61 per cent cleared the pass.

Notably, results of HSLC Exam 2010 was declared on May 31, much earlier than this year.
