Imphal, November 30 2020: The Noney Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 21 Sector Assam Rifles and IG Assam Rifles (East) organised an interactive cum awareness session on COVID for village chairmen in Awangkhul today.

The meeting was attended by members from different villages and matters pertaining to security, employment, development and dos and don'ts to be followed during COVID-19 pandemic were discussed, a statement issued by IGAR (East) said.

The interaction was aimed to strengthen the bond of friendship between Assam Rifles and the locals.
