Somsai Battalion retrieves fallen car

Ukhrul, December 30 2021: Somsai Battalion, Ukhrul under the aegis of IGAR (S) retrieved a car which had fallen into a 20 feet deep ditch in Awangkasom area of Ukhrul.

As per reports, the car sustained massive damage after rolling down the ditch.

The Village Authority of Awangkasom along with the car owner approached Somsai Battalion for assistance in recovering the car from the narrow ditch.

Troops of Somsai Battalion upon receiving the request swung into action along with a recovery truck to retrieve the car.

The locals appreciated the Assam Rifles troops for their swift action.
