Farmer's training programme held

Thoubal, August 30 2014 : A Cropping system based training programme, organised by the District Agricultural Officer, Thoubal in collaboration with Women Farmer Club, Laiphrakpam Mayai Leikai under the National Food Security Mission Rice (2013-14), was held today at Laiphrakpam Mayai Leikai, Lilong Kendra.

Thoubal district Agricultural Officer Th Gyaneswor and his staff educated the 50 participants, the ways to attain higher productivity.

Resource persons K Sanatomba, Deputy project director, DAO Thoubal and Kh Nimaichand, Plant health clinic in-charge, Directorate of Agriculture elaborated on the use of modern technology to improve productivity and to protect crops from diseases.
