AR organises tree plantation drive

Imphal, November 29 2024: Assam Rifles reportedly organised a tree plantation drive at Old Samtal village as part of its contribution towards environmental conservation and ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and green initiatives.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the plantation drive was aimed at addressing environmental challenges, enhance ecological balance and promote a greener future for generations to come.

A total of 500 saplings of diverse range of native tree species were planted with enthusiastic participation of the villagers and representatives from Assam Rifles, added the PRO.
