Thoubal, June 29 2012: A one-day awareness programme on silk production through mulberry plantation was held at the residence of O Kuber located near Thoubal Mela ground under the aegis of Research Extension Centre, Central Silk Board, Mantripukhri, Imphal.

The programme was attended by social activist W Lukhoi; Scientist (C) of REC, CSB Mantripukhri, Dr Laishram Somen as the chief guest and president respectively.

Technical Assistant of REC, CSB, Tongbram Inaocha spoke on Rearing of Mulberry Worms as the resource person.
