Imphal, August 28 2021: Keithelmanbi Battalion of IGAR (South) in a joint operation with Manipur Police apprehended an active cadre of proscribed group PREPAK from Yairipok area in Thoubal district on Friday.

According to PRO IGAR (S), troops of Assam Rifles along with Manipur Police launched an operation which led to the capture of the cadre and recovery of one 9mm Pistol with magazine and five live rounds.

The apprehended cadre along with recovered items has been handed over to Andro Police Station for further investigation, it added.
