Imphal, February 28 2016: Based on a reliable information, a team of Imphal West district police commando conducted frisking and checking near RIMS main gate, Lamphel on February 26. During the frisking and checking, an active member of KYKL (MDF) organisa- tion identified as Mutum Herojit (33) s/o M Indrajit Singh of Lalambung Makhong Nitainanda Maning, RIMS road was ar- rested.

Investigation revealed that he was involved in extortion from different hotels in Imphal area.

Incriminating articles were seized from his possession.

A case has been regis- tered at Lamphel PS and investigation is going on, ac- cording to a statement issued by the PRO of Police Dept.
