Imphal, May 27 2016 : North East Dialogue Forum has re- solved to collaborate with various social organisations and NGOs in order to fight against child marriage in Manipur.

The forum said that cases of child marriage and child trafficking in the State are increasing at an alarming rate.

People of the State should be made aware that child marriage and other crimes against children are punish- able under the law.

The forum also appealed to all the local youth clubs and Meira Paibis to extend assistance by organising awareness programmes on the related issues.
