Imphal, September 25 2019: Mantripukhri Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) organised a security coordination meet at Yangangpokpi Company Operating Base (COB) yesterday.

The Security forum was attended by Meira Paibis, Ward Councillors of local youth clubs and representatives of Yangangpokpi Police Station including the OC of the Police Station, said a statement of PRO IGAR (South) today.

Locals were updated on current security situation existing in the area of responsibility.

They were also informed about the upcoming Army Recruitment Rally scheduled to be held at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium in Imphal from October 10 to 18 .

Future action plan in respect of civic action projects like medical camps were also discussed, said AR.
