Imphal, June 25 2013: Directorate of Tribal Affairs and Hills has informed Sceduled Tribe students of Manipur who have opened their bank accounts as minors to update their accounts in their respective home banks into major accounts so as to enable the State Bank of India, Imphal Secretariat Branch to credit the Post Matric Scholarship 2012-13 amount into their respective accounts at an early date.

According to a statement of the Directorate, if the account details were not updated then restriction had been placed in the transaction on the account by the system automatically in the bank.
