Kakching, April 24 2019: All Kakching Students' Union (AKSU) has appealed the State Government and concerned authority to release the pre-matric scholarship for 2017-18 at the earliest.

Since MOBC department took charge, there has been lots of irregularities in releasing the pre and post matric scholarship of Scheduled Caste students, claimed a statement of AKSU, president, Sh Ronan Khumamcha.

Saying that the act has created untold misery and apprehension among the students, Ronan urged the State Government and concerned authorities to look into the matter and address the plight of the students at the earliest.
