Imphal, December 23 2017: The 16th annual meeting of Manipuri Sahitya Parishad , Wangjing will be held on December 25 at Royal Academy hall, Lamjing, according to a statement of Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Wangjing secretary .

The Leitanthem Ramsingh Memorial Sahitya award will be given and a book releasing function will be also be held as a part of the function, he added .

Manipuri Sahitya Parishad , Imphal general secretary Dr Y Kunjabihari, Manipuri Sahitya Parishad , Thoubal district branch vice president Naorem Gandhar and Leitanthem Ramsingh Memorial Trust, Thoubal president RK Yaiskul will be attending the function as dignitaries .

Meanwhile, the Leitanthem Ramsingh Memorial Sahitya award will be given to poet Wahengbam Romen Meitei, it added.
