Imphal, July 23 2014: The Coalition Against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA) in association with Wabagai Mairenbam Meira Paibi Lup has organised on Wednesday a discussion meeting on "Impact of Drugs and Alcohol to Students' Community" at the community hall of the Wabagai Mairenbam.

In a press release issued by Geetchandra Mangang, secretary, Information & Publicity, CADA communicated that Social Worker Loitongbam Kulla and Mayengbam Megha, the leader of the Wabagai Mairenbam Meira Paibi Lup Laisram (o) Ibecha and the President-in-charge of CADA Ningthoujam Doren were presidium members.

The acting Chairman of Human Rights Initiative (HRI) advocate Y Ratankumar attended the function as resource person.

During the function, the secretary Wabagai Mairenbam Meira Paibi Lup Laishram (o) Purnima expressed her concern on the rising of liquor vendors and also its consumers in the area by leaps and bounds.
