Kakching, December 22 2024: A 126 Battalion BSF A-Coy trooper posted at Keirak IFCD/Water Resources IB was found dead on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as head constable Sunil Kumar Hooda (46) of Kiloi village, Rohtak, Haryana.

Sunil Kumar Hooda had a fatal bullet wound on the head, which police suspect to be suicide case as the Trichy Assault Rifle (TAR) issued to him was found nearby the body.

A case has been registered by Kakching police after a forensic science team of Manipur Police assessed the situation.

Body of the deceased has been deposited at JNIMS Morgue for conducting post-mortem.
