ADC 'chairmen' clarify

Imphal, November 22 2021: Caretaker chairmen of the six Autonomous District Councils (ADCs) of Manipur have clarified to chief minister N Biren that they have no connection with the economic blockade announced by ATSUM.

In a joint clarification addressed to the CM on Monday, ADC caretaker chairmen Dr Yaronsho Ngalung (Ukhrul), D Ringo Lamkang (Chandel), Namsinrei Panmei (Tamenglong), Haokholal Hangshing(Sadar Hills), A Kapani (Senapati) and Khaipao Haokip (Churachandpur) said that they did not sponsor in any form the ATSUM's proposed economic blockade over the issue of HAC's ADC Bill, 2021 as alleged by certain indivisuals.
