Imphal, November 22 2011: The closing function of Newborn care week 2011 was held at Main Auditorium of RDO Lamsang, Imphal West.

Dr.L Joykumar, Director Family Welfare Services, and Dr.A Naranbabu, President, Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Manipur State Branch graced the function as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.

During the function, Dr..NKameshore Singh, Asst.

Prof, Pediatric Department, JNIMS deliberated on "Essential Newborn Care" and Dr.L Basanta, Secretary, National Neonatology Forum spoke on "Issue of newborn care" .
