Chandel, February 22 2018: Naga Chiefs Association, Chandel (NCAC) in a statement today clarified that it had withdrawn its complaint about irregularities in rice distribution under NFSA submitted to the Deputy Commissioner following a joint meeting with DLOs, DSO and FPS agents at the office of the DC, Chandel.

The complaint was withdrawn as the FPS agents and DSO had assured that they would distribute the due rice for the month of October and December 2017 at the earliest, said the statement.

FPS agents and DSO had assured fair distribution of rice under NFSA with effect from January 2018, the statement added.
