Imphal, January 21 2025: A hand grenade was found at the gate of Dr Laishram Sachindra's residence in Kwakeithel Makha Thokchom Leikai under Singjamei police station on Monday around 7 pm.

The grenade was wrapped in a black polythene bag and left by unidentified individuals.

Suspicious of the package, family members alerted the police, who promptly recovered the grenade and registered a case.

An investigation is underway to identify those responsible.
