Imphal, January 20 2013 : A team of Imphal East district police commandos arrested a PREPAK cadre namely, Soraisam Kishan alias Naobi (24) s/o Biramani of Takyel Khongbal Mayai Leikai from New Checkon Tribal Market crossing on January 19 .

On questioning, Kishan disclosed that he joined the outfit under one Boby of Sagolband Meino Leirak in 2012.He also stated that he was involved in the extortion of money from the general public, private and public firms.

On further investigation, it was revealed that Kishan was involved in transportation of arms, ammunition and explosive materials from one place to another on several occasions.

He was directly involved in the IED explosion occurred at around 9.50 am at Mantripukhri on October 9, said a press release issued by Imphal East SP.
