Imphal, September 19 2018: Chassad Battalion of 10 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted an awareness programme for the villagers of far flung areas in extreme eastern parts of Kamjong District in Manipur today.

Villagers including elders and youth participated in the programme.

The participants were enriched on the current recruitment procedures, minimum qualifications and preparation required to achieve the aim of joining Indian Army.

The integrated awareness programme was a guidance towards a bright future for the youth of the region, said Headmen of villages.

The villagers and Headmen appreciated the efforts of the AR.
