Meira Paibi group destroys seized liquor

Bpr, December 18 2021: Oinam Meira Paibi Lup disposed of 300 litres of local liquor seized from one Oinam Ibocha Singh of Oinam Mamang Leikai by burning in front of the people at Oinam Mamang Leikai on Saturday.

Speaking in this regard, Lup secretary Chongtham Anoubi informed that drive against liquor and addictive substances is being conducted by the women vigilante group so as to save the people and the state from the menace of increasing consumption and sale of such harmful substances.

While conveying that the drive will continue in Oinam, she urged local clubs and organisations to support the campaign.
