Moreh, December 18 2012: Founder Chairman of both Moreh Tribal Council (now HTC) and Moreh College, Henkhokam alias Kampu Gangte passed away yesterday at his Moreh Ward No 8 residence.

He was 66 .

The funeral service was held today with many people of the area and elsewhere including HTC officials attending the funeral programme.

HTC President Jangmang Haokip and ex-Minister Onjamang Haokip remembered the departed leader as a visionary and benevolent leader.

Meanwhile, M Thoiba Singh, President of MCM has condoled the demise of Kampu while stating that his death is a great lost to the people of Moreh.
