TNAI launches indefinite cease work strike

Senapati, August 17 2021:
Joining with the rest of the State, the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI), District Hospital, Senapati has initiated an indefinite cease-work strike on Tuesday after the State Government failed to comply with their demands.
Mention may be made that the nurses fraternity are on demand for nursing allowance, Grade pay, DA payment, timely promotion and filling up of all vacant posts.
The cease-work strike is reported to continue until all the demands are settled by the concerned authority.
Th Binodini Devi, secretary TNAI, Manipur State Branch had earlier been notified to start the cease-work strike with effect from August 17 .
In this regard, alktrained nurses who are posted in the district joined the protest against the Government's inaction to their demands.
