Imphal, October 16 2015 : The Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS) in collaboration with Caritas India conducted a medical camps at Novokom, Chakpikarong, Chandel district on October 14 and at Serou, Thoubal district today.

A medical team including Dr Memeeka, Dr Adinpa, Dr Langlungthang, Dr Adeepa Chara, Dr Gopalsana, nurses and volunteers, treated160 patients at Chakpikarong, according to a statement.

At Serou, more than 200 patients including children were treated.

Apart from treating their illness like common cold, scabies, body pain, stomachache and fever, they were given free medicines, oats and mineral water.

Fr Dominic Kanmi, Director of DSSS, expressed gratitude to the medical team and volunteers for their selfless service rendered to the people.
