Grenade threat to special contractor

Imphal, December 15 2024: Unknown miscreants placed a hand grenade at the Kairang Makha Leikai Lane no.3 residence of special contractor Thokchom Shankar (52) s/o (L) Bihari, under Heingang police station on Sunday morning.

According to a police report, the miscreants also left a note, stating "Who will save your family, Shankar? " alongside the grenade.

On receiving news, a team of Heingang PS arrived at the scene and retrieved the bomb.

The PS also registered a case for further investigation.
