Imphal, December 01 2015: Stating that the assurance given by the MLAs of Kshetrigao, Khurai and Lamlai ACs have not been translated into action till date, the JAC constituted against closing of Pong Lambi has announced its decision to resume the stir with the support of the public from December 17 .

In a statement, the JAC said that they suspended their stir after the three MLAs assured to fulfil the demand for opening of Pong Lambi in consultation with the JNIMS authority.

However, this assurance has not been materialised till date, the statement said.
