Imphal, January 15 2022: One woman died in a tragic road accident yesterday while two other sustained injuries as one Tata Truck rammed an autorickshaw along the National Highway 102 near Konsam Oil Pump at Langthabal Kunja.

The mishap took place at around 4.45 pm.

The deceased has been identified as Minarjan (35), w/o Abdul Rahman of Lilong Yangbi Leikai and she left behind five children while the injured were Bibi Marian (40) and Md Sharukh Khan.

The autorickshaw was heading towards Imphal.

The JAC formed in connection with the accident has submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister N Biren Singh to aid the deceased family as well as the injured individuals.
