Poshan Abhiyan observed at Ukhrul

Ukhrul, September 13 2019: DRDA Ukhrul in collaboration with ICDS Ukhrul today planted tree saplings at Mini Secretariat office complex, Hamleikhong Ukhrul.

The tree plantation drive was carried out as part of a month long observation of Poshan Abhiyan programme in the district.

The green initiative programme was launched by Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul Joseph Pauline Kamson in the presence of DLOs and staff.

The plantation drive was organized to inculcate the mindset for healthy living by preserving our nature and our environment and also to regenerate forest for our future.

More than 50 saplings were planted in the office premises.
