Silchar, January 13 2015: Barak Manipuri Entertainments (BME), as a part of its effort to promote performing arts among the Manipuris residing at Barak valley, will organise a four-day workshop on Manipuri Film Festival and filmmaking from January 19 to 22 at Gandhi Bhavan, Silchar.

The inaugural function of the workshop would be graced by BME president Hao Amar as functional president, Manipuri film actor Kangabam Tomba as chief guest, Film Forum Manipur chairman Surjakanta Sharma and film director Oken Amakcham as guests of honour.

BME Information and Publicity Secretary Fanjowbam Lokenath said that the presidium members would also deliver technical lectures during the workshop.
