Jiribam, October 12 2017: A one day legal awareness programme was organised by Jiribam Network of Positive People (JNP), Jiribam at sub-district hospital, Ningshingkhul, Jiribam on October 9 .

A press release issued by JNP stated that H Rajenkumar Singh, teacher in-charge of Students Legal Literacy Club, Jiribam Higher Secondary School, RK Charles, sub-divisional police officer, Jiribam, M Rajen Singh, CMO, jiribam Dr E Oken attended the programme as resource persons among others and spoke on different topics including ‘Food Security Act’, ‘RTI’, ‘Consumer Act’ .

Around 110 locals took part in the programme.

The programme was sponsored by Manipur State Legal Services Authority, High Court complex, Imphal, it added.
