Imphal, October 12 2015: Over-writing destination names on permit plates by the auto drivers providing services from Imphal to various locations via Khumbong have caused a lot of confusion to passengers.

In a statement issued by Imphal West Students' Club (IWSC), Khumbong, locals and shopkeepers have lost some of their belongings due to confusion.

Urging the auto drivers not to overwrite their destination names and crowd the parking bay in Khumbong bazar, the statement added that the club would otherwise initiate an inspection drive against those who fail to comply with the instruction.
