Imphal, October 11 2024: State Level Organising Committee Meeting on Mera Hou Chongba 2024 to be held on October 17, 2024 was held today at Sana Konung, Palace Compound Imphal.

It was chaired by titular King of Manipur and Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba.

Mera Hou Chongba festival is the Only festival that epitomises the solidarity bond of brotherhood amongst the native of hills and valleys of the State.

The festival is celebrated on the 15th lunar day of the Mera month in the Meitei calendar.
