Relief items provided to widows at Rai Basti

Senapati, August 11 2021: Maram Battalion under the aegis of Jwalamukhi Sector/ IGAR (E), as a gesture of responsibility distributed rations, grocery and essential items to 27 widows in Rai Basti today.

Assam Rifles understood the hardships and challenges posed on widows and made a genuine effort to mitigate the hardships and contributed to the social cause.

Officiating Commandant interacted with the widows and gave a strong message to stay strong and assured them of all the help in these trying and testing times of COVID-19.A total of 27 widows in the area benefited from the act of Assam Rifles.

The village authorities expressed gratitude towards the act of kindness and thanked the efforts of Assam Rifles.
