Imphal, August 11, 2014: Sky Eye Care Foundation, Porompat in association with Manipur State Blindness Control Society and National Programme for Control of Blindness conducted cataract operations Pterygium operations to five patients free of cost at Sky Hospital yesterday.

The patients were selected from among 310 ophthalmic patients examined during a free eye and heart camp held at Thoubal on July 27. Apart from intra ocular lens (IOL) and medicines, the patients were provided transportation charges as well, said a press release.
