Imphal, September 10 2014: Taking the law and order into consideration and in view of the situation that students may find themselves in, the State Government has announced that all schools and colleges will remain shut from tomorrow, until further notice.

Principal Secretary Dr J Suresh Babu who is in charge of education has issued an order to this effect today.

Education Commissioner P Vaiphei has also issued an order with regard to colleges and higher and technical institution today.

The State Government has also appealed to all parents to extend their co-operation to the steps taken up by the Government on behalf of the students.
