Imphal, February 10 2016: DGP L M Khaute inaugurated a WhatsApp group for police and business leaders of Imphal bazaar in a function held at Dharamshala today.

The function was attended by IGP Zone 1 Clay Khongsai, DIGP Range 1 I K Muivah and SP, Imphal West and City PS OC besides others officers and business community leaders.

The group, the DGP stated, was opened to bridge communication gaps and difficulties between business community and the police related to problems occurring in bazar areas.

The initiative is as part of community policing, he added.
