Imphal, August 09 2022: Special Judge POCSO Imphal West today remanded a 20 year old rape accused to judicial custody till August 23 on the charge of defiling a minor girl on July 18 in a rented house at Langol.

Accused Abdul Rajak, s/o (L) Lukuman of Keikhu Makha Leikai was arrested based on a complaint lodged by the mother of the victim and he was in police custody till today.

The rape accused was produced before the Court along with a prayer to send him to judicial custody by Imphal West women police station.

The Court after hearing the submission of the IO and on perusal of the case record remanded Abdul Rajak to judicial custody.
