Jiribam, June 09 2011: Jiribam District Demand Committee (JDDC) has demanded that as approved by the Delimitation Commission of India, the upgradation of the sub-division to a revenue district must be carried out without contemplating any alteration of boundaries.

JDDC Convenor M Maipaksana Mangang extended thanks to the public of the sub-division for their support and appealed to continue till the demand is met.
