Imphal, September 08 2011: Alert was sounded at Samurou when a bomb was found in the campus of Samurou Nagar Panchayat at around 8.30 am today.

Bomb expert of Manipur Police recovered the bomb and disposed it off at a safe place.

Police has registered a case regarding the bomb threat.

Meanwhile, locals of Khurai Chingangbam Leikai today staged a sit in protest against the lathode bomb attack at the residence of RK Gouramangol of the locality.
