Meghalaya Govt cuts tax on petrol, diesel

Imphal, February 08 2021: The Meghalaya Government has reduced the tax on petrol and diesel in the State by Rs 2 per litre.

A notification issued by Excise, Registration and Taxation and Stamp Depart of Meghalaya said that the petrol and diesel tax in the State is being reduced to provide some relief to the people of the State amid the hardships due to the steep hike in petrol and diesel prices across the country.
