Thoubal, February 08 2014 :
Pointing out that the alleged dereliction of the ZEO Chandel has caused inconveniences to the public, the Socio-Economic and Cultural Development Organization (SEACDO), Kanankhu Chandel district and District Vigilance Committee (DVC) Chandel have urged the concerned authority to take necessary measures and straighten the matter.
A joint statement issued by SEACDO and CVC Chandel pointed out that the ZEO has attended office once in a month besides charging the ZEO of irregular implementation of centrally sponsored schemes under SSA including mid-day meal, NRBC and RBC.
Saying that no action has been taken up against the ZEO despite the concerned DC being petitioned earlier, the joint statement signed by president of SEACDO Ts Willingson and President DVC, BD Betha urged the Chiefs' Association, student's bodies, NGOs to extend cooperation in wiping out such irregularities and corruption in the district.
