Four CRPF troopers hurt in accident

Noney, January 08 2025: An SML vehicle (AS01MC 7131) belonging to C Company of 143 Battalion CRPF, skidded off the road and fell into a gorge of about 50 feet near Rengpang along National Highway 37 (Imphal-Jiribam Road) while returning from the platoon post in Rengpang, Noney district.

Four CRPF personnel suffered injuries in the accident, which occurred around 8 am Wednesday.

Of the injured, three have been evacuated to RIMS Imphal for further treatment.

They are V Govind Raju (head injury), Ramesh Chandra Behra (leg), and Surendra Kumar (leg injury) .
